Smart Features and Convenience Beneficial for Nurses and Caregivers

The world's first new robot bed designed to prevent pressure ulcers has been proposed.
The pressure exerted on the body is automatically adjusted to be lower than the threshold where pain begins (32mmHg).
To achieve this goal, highly accurate pressure sensors are used to measure pressure.
The bed, developed for pressure ulcer treatment, is fully electric, quiet, clean, and comfortable for patient care.

Fall prevention feature monitoring the patient's position with pressure sensors
  • Function to alert the risk of falls with alarm sounds and warning displays
  • If there is a risk of patient falls, the bed is lowered to the lowest height for safety
  • Function to detect the presence of patients inside the bed using pressure sensors
